Sian is an Associate and has over 4 years’ experience assisting both private and government clients. Sian is experienced in and passionate about front-end work, having amended multiple Australian Standard contracts and having drafted multiple bespoke contract suites and project specific contracts and documents. She has undertaken numerous contract reviews and departure negotiations, and implemented agreed departures. Sian has in-depth knowledge of procurement planning and methodologies and project delivery models and is often involved in multiple local government procurements, assisting with the drafting of procurement plans, expression of interest and tender documentation and evaluation and probity plans and with the provision of probity advice.
Sian also has experience with construction related disputes, having assisted with litigation, drafting adjudication applications and responses in multiple jurisdictions and provided numerous contractual breach, termination and security of payment advice to public and private sector clients. Sian has significant experience assisting government clients with administrative law matters in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
